C&IC is hardcore AND punk rock, don't get us wrong. I mean, we'll fucking slit your fucking throat, but, as I'm sure you're aware, its merry-season. And you know what's awesome about the holidays? PRESENTS AND COOKIES! I hate all the people who scoff at the materialism and commercialism of Christmas and lament over the metric ton of sweets they will be physically forced to eat spanning late November till the end of the year. You know what? That's the only fucking good part!!! I hate Thanksgiving and Christmas, and if I were otherly-ethnicitized I would hate Kwanzaa and Chanukah too. What I do LOVE LOVE LOVE is the card-making, present giving/getting, and cookie baking/devouring.
Despite being totally poor I love buying and/or assembling presents. If I were rich I would be totally poor again cause I'd spend it all on my friends, mom, dad, and sister. I have a friend who is slightly (read: excessively) obsessed with dauschunds and owls and I can't see any reasone why she shouldn't own absolutely everything that has ever been scultped like or printed with these animals. I love making things with scissors, glue sticks, paper...my cards are a sight to behold! Despite being mortally terrified of refined sugars, synthetic sweets (Hey there, Dr. Furman!) I love baking and would gladly over-hand toss a 3 lb pumpkin loaf at everyone I'm on a first name basis with.
And that brings me to parties and dresses. I love parties and have been known to throw them for absolutely every reason imaginable. (ie: dinner parties, game nights, and haircut parties) I love dressing up and having fun. I love cutesy-adorable frocks and christmas/new years dresses are the best! The prettier they are, the better they go with big biker-boots to cover up scrapes and bruises from falling down drunk or slamming at shows. the more delicate and sweet the roudier you should get. Are you following this inversely proportionate scale? So, as office and family party season kicks into full gear, throw on your best threads and go completley insane. This is training for NYE, yall!
