Seeing as that our own Tina Fey is off galavanting in Vegas for the weekend I guess I'll cover the weekend distillery for yet another week. I've poured over the mailing lists and newsletters, and graciously declined invitiations here and there. This weekend I'm pretty much too busy cramming in overtime hours and being sick to really do anything.
Ok, ok, I'm lying. So I am busy and have been ill forever and ever, but I'll be damned if that keeps me from the cutest, awesomest married rock duo ever. The Rosebuds are playing in Williamsburg tonight wih my neighbors Tiger City as openers. Armed with Jenny and a BAL rivaling Lucille Bluth I'm going to dance that music hall right down to the ground. A weekend outing to Long Island promises more martinis and dinner with friends before running home to attend 2 events.
Saturday night Joey Hundertmark plays jazz. Somewhere in New York. I think its free. And if you're looking to get your samba on then check out Beleza, a saucy monthly of hips, drums, and Brazillian armoury. $5 before 11 and $10 after. Its gonna be out-tha-nozzle. Ya heard?
