We have been waiting for you. We are ready to ride our bicycles across Brooklyn and sit in cherry blossom trees.
Winter in New York was a bit gentle this year. He has been teased for years by your friend, the sun. Stop laughing at him. We are trying to help; a lot of it is our fault. Yes, we love polar bears and Antarctica, but we are still very excited to see you.
Come over. We will shed our turtle necks and scarves. We will put on airy dresses and we will dance to shimmering, lilting music for you. Watch us twirl.
You are Spring. You are a season. You can do anything, so pick someone. Follow them around. Become a cloud over their head and rain on them. Every day. Tell them that a season has not truly come until you are wearing new and sparkling clothes. Convince them that we need these expensive dancing shoes.
Love,
Jenny and Jessae
