Today, ladies and germs, is another beautiful spry, spring day full of bounce and vigor. It is our duty to ourselves to take days like these, days before the crushing, wilting heat of city summers come and melt the joy from our souls, and make the absolute most of them. Jenny had the right idea yesterday as she decided to take the day off and lay in the park. Fuck it, work will be there tomorrow...and the day after.
I'm celebrating my beautiful, breezy, sun-shiny spring by working a double today. Hey, we all have our own ways, right? So while I whither and age in front of flat panel monitors and behind basement bars I supliment myself with an array of fresh fruits and internet videos reminding me that the outside world is lush, gorgeous, juicy, and that one day, I might grow the balls to say "fuck it, work will be there tomorrow."
Today's video is one of those alternate realities I want to literally hop around in. I want flowers, friendly neighbors and passers-by, those big, bouncy balls from elementary P.E. class, fluffy dogs, and an omnipotent upbeat soundtrack. At least the flowers and the bouncy ball, c'mon, someone out there...please?
