For the most part, I think liking people is overrated. I mean, most people suck. For reals. But 2 people who definately don't suck?
MATT & KIM!!!!
In fact they rule, endlessly. Despite their "cutesy" media reputation, high-energy, low fi, happy-till-it-hurts sound I consider them some of the punk-rockest kids livin' la vita rock stars right now. Their mid-set/between song banter usually involves endearing personal stories and encouragement to charge barriers, buck systems, get drunker, jump wilder, stop paying rent, and the general ensuement of all things crazy.
Here are two favorite vids of mine, though if you search them on youtube you can dig up some real old ones from way-back 2 years ago (maybe 3) when Matt & Kim's big gigs were playing on battery operated Casios and over-turned 5 gallon buckets in Brooklyn's East River park.
