Caught by the Goog.

On a lazy day of random internet searching Dear-Friend-Of-Mine googles his address opting for 'street view.' Living on a fairly busy urban street it's no surprise that a few pedestrians get caught by the omnipotent Google lens and in this particular case there are 2 figures in the door way to his backyard.

It just so happens to be he and I. It just so happens that we are exchanging a mix tape at that very second. It so happens to be a mix called "In the Key of June" made by him for me after I had lost a friend to escalating Philadelphia gun violence. It just so happens that it was June 2nd and I was on my way into work and he had just gotten home. It just so happens that on this day we ran into each other instead of slyly dropping our notes/mixes/concert tickets in the hole of a missing brick in the walkway, which was our normal communication and contact. It just so happens that June 2nd, at that time, was the first time we'd talked- face to face- in months and months and months. And the Google truck was there to share, capture, and preserve that moment for all of us to map-search.
